Lindsey
Lindsey our site was due 10 minutes ago and you still have not completed your creating a blog page. I embedded your video for you and that is all that is done. I am turning in our website but now we will get late points. I expect the page finished by the morning because this is a group grade
You also didn't copyright either of the photos you used, and you didn't complete the final presentation page.

Hey just touching base again.
- The rubric says standards on the homepage?
- Make sure we have a different imagine on every page with the copyright info
- All of the lessons and digital stories we created must be put in! Double check! I made sure mine were in there.
- Virtual penpals- do we need a whole page for that?
- Make sure you included all three web evals you did at the beginning on the year.
I have been working on the website. Lindsey I see you haven't accessed it. Do you understand how to?
Josh, how is it going?

Storyboard
We definitely need to meet to work on this storyboard this week. This is something that I strongly feel needs to be done face to face. I guess that means something like Skype would work.
Please list your available times in the comments.

Hey group! I'm posting this here, feel free to edit otherwise this is what we are submitting for out concept map checkpoint 2. I think it pretty accurately reflects our unit.

This week we are using taskstream again to write another lesson plan.
Again, it has to come from the concept map but this week we need to use excel to collect some sort of data.
Our lesson plan needs
- A student activity that involves data collection
- a data collection sheet attached to the lesson plan under instructional materials
- Us showing them how to use excel
- A student Sample
- GLCES/Educational Tech standards
- Rubric
We also need to go into Bubbl and edit our concept map to match all the small changed we made about our project. (Then post to blog)
Great job to us on the podcast! We worked hard and it paid off.
I am going to do Measurements: Temperature. I am emailing he now to ask if we can all use the category "measurements" but use a different piece of i. I will let you know.

Podcast
I was thinking one of the concepts from the book could be "Changing Their Worldview" I think this would be very good to share with the parents. If we were lucky it might even intrigue the parents themselves.

Writing a Technology Integrated Lesson Plan Using TaskStream, Hot list, and Web Safety
Hey Josh and Lindsey.
This week is the first lesson plan!
We will be using task stream to write a lesson plan for an elementary classroom. (5th grade)
Our lesson plans have to focus on a concept within our project and we each have to create a different lesson plan.
The three of us need to decide and discuss what information we will each have our student research.
We all must choose something different. (From different areas of the concept map)
Do either of you have an idea for your lesson plan?

Map:Part 2
This is our map. We used it to display the distance between our 5th grade class and the class in China. With the map, students can see distance, terrain, and use many other features.
Our class will find it helpful in connecting with the other side of the world. I had trouble linking (didn't find a chain button) but I made the link available to click on.
